In order to raise awareness and inspire action for the fight against climate change, Lignaverda is running an initiative called "Cycling for the Climate."

The private and public sectors are urged to play their roles if Namibia is to reach the Nationally Determined Contributions to reduce carbon emissions by 89% to 91% by 2030.

Namibia's revised commitment to addressing climate change through mitigation and adaptation requires about N$270 billion to be executed by 2030.
