Teachers from various schools in the Oshikoto Region engaged President Hage Geingob and raised concerns around businesses benefiting from state tenders, using foreign expertise over locals.

The teachers from Tsumeb English Medium, Ontana Combined School, and Nehale Secondary School are accompanying learners from grades seven to twelve who are on a school tour to the |Khomas Region.

President Hage Geingob has encouraged school learners to take their studies seriously, true to the saying that 'education is the greatest equaliser'.

Learners and teachers from the Oshikoto Region visited State House as part of their school tour to Windhoek.

The pupils are from Tsumeb English Medium, Ontana Combined School, and Nehale Secondary School, from grades seven to twelve.

The visit to State House saw them engage the President and senior officials from the Presidency.
