Private and public sectors invited to invest in Tsandi

Tsandi Village Council's Chief Executive Officer, Kephas Haitembu, is calling on the private and public sectors to invest in the local authority to boost the domestic economy.

Speaking to nbc News, Haitembu said the council has already incorporated plots for education, health institutions, and industrial development into its future plans.

The young and vibrant village council, he says, has good prospects as it is strategically located with its unique yet unexplored potential for investment initiatives.

Namibia's goal is to enhance agricultural production and ensure national food security and self-sufficiency.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform, Anna Shigwedha, made the remark in response to Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader McHenry Venaani's inquiries regarding drip irrigation and soil moisture management for small-scale commercial agriculture.
