Palestinians have thanked Namibia for refusing a vessel suspected to be carrying military cargo for Israel from docking at the Walvis Bay port over the weekend.

The port of Walvis Bay is expected to receive an additional 65 cruise liners from November to January 2027.
This was revealed by Erongo Governor Neville Andre during the State of the Region Address at Swakopmund.
Namibia is gearing up for the arrival of 15 passenger vessels at the port of Luderitz and 18 cruise liners at the port of Walvis Bay between November 2023 and February 2024.
