The President of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Martin Lukato, has called on the youth to take part in the up-coming national elections. 

Lukato made the appeal at a media briefing at Rundu.

NDP President Martin Lukato said during a media briefing that the severe lack of rainfall has resulted in widespread crop failure, food shortages, and a dire lack of water for both people and animals.

Four political parties in Zambezi Region have commended the late President Hage Geingob as a leader of note who committed himself to Namibia's prosperity.

Political parties remarked on this at a regional memorial service organised by the regional council.

The National Democratic Party (NDP) representative, Success Musialike, noted that Dr. Geingob set a bar high for all Namibians in upholding high etiquette, values, and morals.
