Challenges that obstruct the boy child education, such as dropping out of school, lack of support, use of harmful substances and mental health, have topped the agenda during the Boys to Men event held at Witvlei.

Some small business owners operating along the Trans-Kalahari Corridor at Witvlei say that if it were not for travellers on the highway who support them daily, they would remain job seekers.

The Chief Executive Officer at Witvlei Village Council, Tinana Matjila, says there are plans to develop the village despite the limited resources at its disposal.
