Korea has extended an invitation to Namibia to participate in the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit, scheduled to take place in June.

The Korean government announced that the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit seeks higher economic cooperation with the African continent in all sectors, including industry, trade, and resources.

The inaugural summit is being held against the realisation that Africa's economic ties with Korea remain marginal.

The Korean government has yet to send a formal letter of invitation to the Namibian government through usual diplomatic channels.
