No cattle were lost at the Kavango Cattle Ranch over the past 12 months due to illness, Namibia Industrial Development Agency (NIDA) CEO Richwell Lukonga has said.

The United Namibians Party (UNP) welcomed 34 new members at Mazwa Village in Kavango West’s Musese Constituency. 

The party’s Vice Chief Servant, Alfons Hausiku, says he did not expect the turnout, especially since some of the new members defected from other political parties. 

Karibib Councillor Melania Ndjago emphasized the vital role small-scale farmers play in food production, income generation, and improving living standards. 

During a recent event, Ndjago oversaw the distribution of 80 Boer goats to eight communal farmers, valued at nearly two hundred thousand dollars. 

Members of the |Khomanin Traditional Authority gathered at Groot |Aub over the weekend, to discuss issues related to the |Khomanin people and find lasting solutions to the challenges they face.

During the gathering in Groot |Aub, the |Khomanin raised concerns over their lack of access to farming land and concerns with two farms recently purchased for their beneficiation by the government.
