After its monthly review, the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has decided to keep the fuel price for November unchanged.

Motorists will not need to budget for extra fuel during the festive season, as petrol and diesel prices will remain unchanged in January 2025.

The fuel price trends in December showed a moderate rise in diesel prices, driven by the continued uptick in global demand.

The strong performance of the Namibian Dollar (NAD) against the US Dollar (USD) in July, at N$18.21 to US$1, is among many factors that resulted in fuel prices remaining unchanged for August.

Motorists will once again breathe a sigh of relief as both petrol and diesel grades will remain unchanged.

The Ministry of Mines and Energy announced on Tuesday that fuel prices for August will remain unchanged.
