Some relocated learners from flood-affected schools in the Zambezi Region are steadily adjusting to their new environment at Lusese, where temporary facilities have been set up to ensure the continuation of teaching and learning.

A total of 166 learners from Muzii Combined School, accompanied by 14 staff members, arrived at Luhonono via the Kapelwa Kabajani Ferry on Sunday before proceeding to Lusese, where they will be temporarily accommodated and continue with their schooling.

The current drought continues to affect villagers who rely on rivers and boreholes for their daily water supply needs. 

This is the same situation for residents in Konga Bayenda village in the Lusese area.
