The family of Ester Martin from Elyambala in Ongwediva are out in the cold after their plot was allegedly sold without their consent.

Attempts to appeal against the alleged irregular sale of land have failed.
The plot initially belonged to the late Riridis Kuutondokwa, who was Martin's mother.

Five accused appear in court over assault of Katima Mulilo teacher

Five accused out of the 11 suspects arrested over the alleged assault of a 58-year-old male teacher during a land dispute appeared before Magistrate Laina Namboga at the Katima Mulilo Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

They were granted bail of N$2,000 each.

A farmer in the Okorukambe Constituency, Republic Ngahahe, is facing eviction from Farm Ozombahe, as he is not from the area.

Farm Ozombahe belongs to the residents of Omitara; however, Ngahahe, a native of the Otjinene Constituency, spent three years there.
