For Thaddeus Chedau, the Khwe Living Museum in Bwabwata National Park is more than a tourism initiative. It is a mission to preserve his people's cultural identity, pass traditional knowledge to younger generations and create livelihood opportunities for the community.

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, Anselm Marungu, has described the Omaludi Agricultural Festival as having become a source of pride and a beacon of unity, where community members share practices designed to preserve Namibian heritage and traditional knowledge systems.

An International Bush Walk is underway in Grashoek, in the Tsumkwe Constituency, that started on February 17th. 

The nine-day event which will last until February 25th, is organised to celebrate, enjoy and preserve the culture and traditions of the San indigenous people.
