The Henties Bay Clinic received two brand new ambulances valued at N$1.6 million from the Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine on Friday.
The donation is part of the mine's "Heart on Wheels" initiative.
Access to emergency medical care in remote parts of Erongo has received a boost with the donation of a one million dollar fully equipped off-road ambulance to Omaruru District Hospital courtesy of Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine.
Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine has equipped the Tutaleni Police Station at Walvis Bay with one car, 20 bicycles, and computers worth N$400,000.
The donation from the uranium miner is a boost to the recently built N$127 million Tutaleni police station at the harbour town.
