The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources has expressed disappointment with the state of the Kalimbeza Rice Project in the Zambezi Region. 

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources has called on the Zambezi Regional leadership to work in unity and ensure that officials are held accountable for the development in the region.

Shell International says it has spent more than N$1 billion on oil and gas exploration activities in Namibia to date, reaffirming its commitment to continue investing in these sectors.
