A vehicle fell into one of the sinkholes at the Queenspark residential area in Rundu, Kavango East Region. 

According to Kavango East Crime Investigations Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu, the driver was reversing out of a yard when it fell into the sinkhole. 

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has given an update on the flash floods that hit Kalkrand Village.

Dr. Ngurare reported that heavy rainfall throughout Monday night caused significant damage to properties, disrupted daily life and led to the closure of schools.
