Omusati police have so far arrested only two of the six trial-awaiting inmates who escaped from lawful custody at the Okalongo Police holding cells on Sunday, 24 May.

4 of the 7 inmates awaiting trial, who escaped from the Ngoma Police Station, appeared in the Katima Mulilo Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The 5th escapee was re-arrested on Thursday morning.

The police in the Zambezi Region are searching for three escapees after five trial-awaiting inmates escaped from the Ngoma police station holding cells on Saturday.
