The Ministry of Finance has started the process of phasing out social grant cash payments. 

The Deputy Director of Social Assistance, Albert Biwa, made the announcement at the consultative meeting with social grant recipients at Keetmanshoop. 

The Erongo Police are seeking public assistance in locating George Hamanja Isaacks, a 52-year-old police officer who has been reported missing.

The Otjiwarongo State Hospital is asking the public for assistance in identifying a male patient who has been hospitalized for nearly two months.  

The man, who is now in stable condition, suffers from memory loss after sustaining a head injury about four months ago.
