The Hifikepunye Pohamba Education Center was inaugurated on Saturday at Okanghudi in the Ohangwena region.

The center will serve as a learning and research resource facility while also preserving Namibia's culture and heritage.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says she feels empowered and encouraged by the support given to her by former Presidents Hifikepunye Pohamba and Nangolo Mbumba, describing them as strong pillars to lean on and shoulders to cry on during her tenure as Head of State.
