Brothers George Cloete and Bino Cloete, who are facing charges for violating the Prevention of Organised Crime Act and for illicit trafficking under the Diamond Act, have been denied bail by the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court. They have been in police custody since May of last year.

Bail applicant George Cloete has objected to cross-examination by the state on his bank account transactions during his bail application hearing in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. 

The Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court has denied the bail application of Chairmaine Cloete, one of three suspects charged with two counts of violating the Prevention of Organised Crime Act and illicit trafficking under the Diamond Act.
