The Presidential Special Advisor and Head of the Upstream Petroleum Unit in the Office of the President, Kornelia Shilunga, has commended the Keetmanshoop Vocational Training Centre for upscaling the boiler making and metal fabrication course.

Since its founding 71 years ago, the Pionier Boys' School in Windhoek has evolved from a small special-needs institution into a centre for both academic and vocational training for boys with learning difficulties in Namibia.

Twenty-five trainees from the Namibia College of Technology and Vocational Training (NCTVT) pitched their business plans in Windhoek as they await their assessment results and toolkits in August.
