The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Trade, Jenelly Matundu, stated that the government should first focus on a complete re-engineering process before moving to the next step of transferring PSEMAS members to state health facilities.

The Minister of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) called on the Namibia Association of Former Ambassadors (NAFA) to find more effective ways of supporting them in managing Namibia's foreign policy to advance the country's national interests.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, the Ministry of International Relations and Trade, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare; and the Angolan Embassy have been dedicating their time to finding a lasting solution to the influx of Angolan children on the streets in various towns

Local entrepreneurs who attended the Ministry of International Relations and Trade's regional engagements at Rundu described it as crucial and long overdue. 

The engagement provided a platform for the local business community to give input on how to harness the potential of the Kavango East region.
