Health and Social Services Minister Dr. Esperance Luvindao has announced that Namibia will move towards regulatory approval for the rollout of Lenacapavir, a twice-yearly injection for the treatment and prevention of HIV.
The Ministry of Health in Zambia has announced the registration of a long-acting injectable antiretroviral for HIV prevention, known as Lenacapavir.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services says Namibia has not yet approved the use of lenacapavir, a twice-yearly injectable medication for prevention and treatment of HIV, due to its high global market price.
