The Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) will be held on 13 March 2027.

This was announced by the Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp, and industry stakeholders during the unveiling of the new logo for NAMAs.

The Namibian Society of Composers and Authors of Music (NASCAM) has secured a grant of N$1.5 million to transform the country's music industry through research, digital innovation and copyright reform.

The family of late musician Jackson Kaujeua Junior is raising funds to repatriate his body from Norway for burial. 

Kaujeua Jnr, a renowned musician and the son of liberation struggle icon Jackson Kaujeua, died in Norway on Sunday after an illness.
