These questions were raised during a recent public consultation hosted by the National Steering Committee in Keetmanshoop.

The National Steering Committee tasked with the development of Namibia's first Space Science and Technology Bill is calling on the public to participate in consultations that will shape the country's future in space.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology has emphasised the need for Namibia to invest in and strengthen collaboration on space technologies with countries, such as neighbouring Angola.

Emma Theofelus praised the neighbouring country's significant advancements in satellite communications.
