Retail store operator Pepkor, in partnership with the Namibian Competition Commission (NaCC) will be hosting a manufacturers' summit in Windhoek.

The summit brings together Namibian manufacturers, entrepreneurs, brands, and partners from the apparel, furniture, and lifestyle sectors.

Residents of the Goreangab constituency in Windhoek will now no longer have to travel long distances for shopping.

This follows the opening of the Goreangab Mall, a N$270 million development.

Shopping malls in Walvis Bay were filled to capacity as residents and holidaymakers spent money on gifts and food for Christmas and Family Day festivities.

When driving to the malls, convoys of cars can be seen, and finding a parking spot becomes a challenge.
