A mediation hearing in the case of Usakos tour guide Marvin ||Areseb, who is suing the Namibian Police Force and three officers for alleged assault, will not proceed as scheduled.

The matter had been set down for mediation for today. 

Five accused out of the 11 suspects arrested over the alleged assault of a 58-year-old male teacher during a land dispute appeared before Magistrate Laina Namboga at the Katima Mulilo Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

They were granted bail of N$2,000 each.
