The Minister of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) called on the Namibia Association of Former Ambassadors (NAFA) to find more effective ways of supporting them in managing Namibia's foreign policy to advance the country's national interests.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has undertaken a limited number of international trips since assuming office, with the Presidency saying foreign travel is approved only when it serves Namibia’s national interests and foreign policy priorities.
