Tapiso turns street struggles into hope for others

After seven months of living on the streets, Vecius Tapiso is turning his past hardships into a lifeline for others. 

Now the Chairperson of the "Nest of Love" empowerment initiative, Tapiso is dedicating his life to helping the homeless escape the cycle of poverty through dignity and skill-building.

SWAPO stalwart Erkki Nghimtina was laid to rest this morning at the Eenhana Memorial Shrine in the Ohangwena Region. The former minister passed away at his home in Edundja Village on February 8th at the age of 78. 

Mother recalls agony of identifying daughter’s remains

A Windhoek family is mourning after a mother identified the remains of her 27-year-old daughter at the Windhoek State Mortuary. Jennifer Isaacks' decomposed body was discovered in bushes behind the University of Namibia's main campus on 31 January.

Former MP Geoffrey Mwilima buried in Zambezi Region

Former member of parliament Geoffrey Mwilima was buried at Kanono Village in the Zambezi region today. 
Mwilima died in a Windhoek hospital aged 70 while awaiting a medical operation.
