Swakopmund, Oranjemund sign cooperation agreement

The local authorities of Swakopmund and Oranjemund have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing innovative solutions to residents' problems.

Housing development, tourism, and investment promotion, as well as waste management, are among the focus areas of the agreement.

Through the five-year agreement, the Swakopmund Municipality and Oranjemund Town Council will rely on exchanging information and expertise to improve service delivery to the public.

NHC and NCRST sign partnership agreement

The National Heritage Council of Namibia and the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology have signed a partnership agreement aimed at reforming and harmonising the operations of the two entities.

The National Heritage Council of Namibia provides protection and conservation of heritage places, while the NCRST promotes, coordinates, and develops research.

In terms of the agreement, NCRST will provide funding for the development of research in science and technology in Namibia.

AIMS and Namibia Youth on Green Hydrogen sign skills development partnership

A skills development partnership was signed between Africa Institutional Management Services and Namibia Youth on Green Hydrogen.

Africa Institutional Management Services or AIMS is an extended service qualified and registered training institution, helping both public and private sectors through skills expansion. Its CEO, Cleopas George, says they have realised the need for the Namibian youth to be prepared with specific skills.
