Omaheke Council begins clearing land for community garden

The Omaheke Regional Council, in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister, has started clearing a 13-hectare piece of land earmarked for a community garden.

The land is on the outskirts of Talismanus in the Otjombinde Constituency. 

Oshana Council boosts food security

To address food security in the region, the Oshana Regional Council produced six tonnes of mahangu and 310 kilograms of beans from its four crop fields in four constituencies, namely Okatjali, Uukwiyuushona, Ompundja and Uuvudhiya.
