A Supreme Court judgement has brought finality to years of litigation over the leadership and governance of the Ovambanderu Traditional Authority (OTA).

Ombara Eben || Nguvauva of the Ovambanderu Traditional Authority has appealed to his communities to continue preserving culture and traditional norms, while urging the central government to create a conducive environment aimed at advancing community development.
 

The leader of the Ovambanderu Traditional Authority has called on traditional leaders to become catalysts in promoting cultural activities to restore traditional norms and preserve cultures.

The Ovambanderu Traditional Authority concluded its 2023 activities with the inauguration of a sub-station commando at Otjijarua in the Epukiro Constituency. 

The commando serves as an assembly point for special gatherings.

Eben Tjozohongo Nguvauva || was coronated as Ombara of the Ovambanderu Traditional Authority at Omaue-ozonjanda in the Epukiro Constituency of the Omaheke Region.

Ombara Tjozohongo Nguvauva ||, succeeds his late brother Killus Munjuku lll Nguvauva, who died last year.
