Namibia joined the rest of the world in observing #MedSafetyWeek, being commemorated under the theme "How patients and healthcare professionals make safety work". 

The United Nations World Food Programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, held a "one thousand days" campaign at Tsumkwe.

The two Kavango regions are expected to benefit again from the Recon Namibia medical equipment donations.

The donation is part of the second phase of Recon Namibia's N$15 million commitment to the Ministry of Health and Social Services' COVID-19 relief programme.
