The Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Forestry has acknowledged that a study was conducted about 10 years ago on the complete removal of the Veterinary Cordon Fence, commonly known as the "Redline."

The Affirmative Repositioning movement has accused the respondents in a case in which it demands the removal of the Veterinary Cordon Fence of deploying delaying tactics to avoid arguments on the merits of the case.
Delegates of the Affirmative Repositioning Movement (AR) who are scheduled to attend the movement's National Activists Assembly (NAA) in November are expected to make a payment of N$400.00 per delegate.
