Prime Minister visits Omhalapapa deep borehole in Omundaungilo

The Prime Minister also visited Omhalapapa deep borehole in the Omundaungilo Constituency, where villagers have access to clean drinking water.

The Omhalapapa deep borehole, which is solar-powered, was installed by the government two years ago at a cost of N$2.5 million, and it is now providing clean water to seven water points in the Omundaungilo constituency.

Villagers, however, want the government to put up a high tower or a bigger reservoir at the borehole so that water can reach some areas where water moves at a slow pace due to low pressure.
