The Ongwediva Build It Branch held a successful Under 13 Soccer and Netball tournament at the Eluwa Special School in Ongwediva.

The Ongwediva Town Council cut off the water connection to Eluwa Special School yesterday, leaving close to 300 learners with visual and hearing impairments without access to clean water.

Investigations carried out by nbc News revealed that the school is in arrears with N$725,000.

Learners of the Eluwa Special School need white canes, a situation that has forced them to share the few they have. 

The school is home to 120 learners who are either blind or have poor sight.
