The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Poverty Eradication, Labour and Relations Chairperson Justina Jonas is calling for stronger enforcement of labour laws and coordinated inspections to address workplace violations.

The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) has approved a 5% increase in monthly pension benefits, effective 1 April 2026.
