Works and Transport Minister Veikko Nekundi has announced the upgrade of the 105 kilometers gravel to tar road between Khorixas and Kamanjab. 

Nekundi made this announcement at a consultation meeting between the Ministry, Roads Authority and traditional authorities at Khorixas in the Kunene Region. 

The Ministry of Works and Transport announced a reform to modernise the passenger transport permit system by converting indefinite road carrier permits into two-year renewable permits.

The Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, made a surprise visit to the NATIS offices in Windhoek on Friday to assess whether clients were satisfied with the service there and that operations ran smoothly.

Minister Nekundi took a tour of the facility where he engaged with employees and clients.
