Finland welcomes Namibia's agreement with EU

Finland has welcomed Namibia's agreement with the European Union to develop sustainable raw materials and renewable hydrogen.

The Nordic country is the latest EU member state to express cooperation in the new industry.

Namibia has been the subject of heightened interest from developed countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and others since the government announced plans to position the country as a global leader in the supply of clean energy.

Aviation and connectivity forum set for Windhoek

Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, will be joined by the Finnish Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Ville Skinnari, in officiating the opening of the Aviation and Connectivity Forum taking place in Windhoek between Wednesday and Friday.

A media release issued on Sunday by the Namibia Airports Company stated that the event will provide a platform for key aviation industry players and stakeholders to share, tackle, and put into motion ideas on the trajectory that the aviation industry and its related ecosystems over the next few years.
