President Geingob satisfied by the construction of the Chief Hosea Kutako Memorial Museum

President Hage Geingob is happy with the progress made in the construction of the Chief Hosea Kutako Memorial Museum and Homestead Shrine in the Omaheke Region.

The construction of the Memorial Museum and Homestead Shrine commenced last year.

President Geingob inspected the site, located 195 kilometers from Gobabis, at the late stalwart's village of Toasis.

The decision to construct the Memorial Museum and Homestead Shrine was taken during the Second National Land Conference in 2018.

The Secretary to Cabinet, Dr George Simataa, led a delegation to acquaint themselves with the progress of the Hosea Kutako Museum and Homestead Shrine at Aminius Constituency's Toasis village.

The delegation, comprising Executive Directors Sanet Steenkamp, I-Ben Nashandi, and Dr Audrin Mathe, was taken on a site visit by the Principal Agent, Marley Tjitjo.

Tjitjo also details to the team on procedures used on the site, as, in consultation with an expert, they aim to maintain the original concept and design with a modern twist.
