Sixteen Namibian companies have expressed interest in contributing to the establishment of a national airline for Namibia.

This is according to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Julius Ngweda.

The Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, says the aviation industry is in need of a unified approach to survival and growth, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
