Ruguru Investment donated a two-classroom block to Kamina Junior Primary School at Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.

The donation is worth N$1.3 million.

Kamina Junior Primary School was established in 1979.

Commissioner Nelumbu replaces Commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo.

Commissioner Nelumbu joined the Namibian Police Force in 1995.

RUGURU DONATES FOOD TO SAN COMMUNITY

At least 50 households from the San community at Nkurenkuru's Extension 5 have received food donations from Ruguru Investment. The donation is worth N$85,700.

Ruguru Investment is one of the companies allocated fishing rights in the Kavango West Region.

The bulk of taxi operators in Nkurenkuru are unlicensed, with only four operating legally. 

This information was revealed during a meeting held by the Namibia Public Passenger Transport Association (NPPTA) with transport operators.

ELCIN MARKS 100 YEARS OF MISSIONARY WORK IN KAVANGO

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN) marked the centenary of its missionary work in the Kavango regions. Established in 1926, the church has played a significant role in the area.

A German missionary, Otto Emil Narchi, established the first church at Nkurenkuru.

KAVANGO WEST COUNCIL, RVTC SIGN COLLABORATION DEAL

The Kavango West Regional Council and Rundu Vocational Training Center signed a collaboration agreement at Nkurenkuru.

The duo have previously collaborated on the completion of phase one of the Nkurenkuru Sports Complex, and the Rundu VTC has recently been awarded a sports facility contract at Ncamagoro.
