600 temporary workers at Hangana Seafood have officially submitted a petition to management claiming discrimination and unfair labour practices.

Many of these workers say they have been on temporary contracts since 2018 and now seek permanent jobs. 

A group of 20 employees of Ekango Salt Refiners, employed on a contract basis by Mauritius Investment CC, held a protest against unfair labour practices at the company in Walvis Bay.

Employees of the Rundu Cash and Carry shops are unhappy with their working environment, which they describe as unconducive.

Over a hundred employees of Rundu Cash and Carry held a demonstration against alleged unfair treatment and low salaries.
