Swapo Party MP in the National Council, Andreas Amundjindi, proposed legislative changes to streamline elections by considering the holding of national, regional, and local authority elections simultaneously.

The Namibian Exile Kids Association (NEKA) has embarked on initiatives aiming at mobilising its members to register and participate in the upcoming elections.

Those who have not registered yet only have nine days to register, and the date will not be extended.

The general voter registration, which started on the 3rd of June, ends next week Thursday.

The Swapo Party regional coordinator, Matheus Mumbala, said during a meeting at Keetmanshoop over the weekend that the preparations for the upcoming elections in November are in full swing as the party continues to campaign for its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. 

The number of registered voters has passed the one million mark, with the latest statistics on the General Registration of Voters (GRV) indicating a cumulative 1,153,916 registered voters as of July 20.

It's high time that churches stand up and actively participate in educating eligible voters to take part in the upcoming elections.

National Council Swapo Party MP John Likando has expressed concerns about the inefficiency of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN), particularly highlighting delays in the registration process.

The Swapo Party Youth League held a question-and-answer session with the Vice President and party presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, at Rundu. 

The session provided a platform for the youth to express their thoughts, concerns, and aspirations.
