Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states have been encouraged to come up with laws and policies that govern irregular migration as it threatens the national security and well being of migrants themselves. Speaking during the migration dialogue for Southern Africa in Gaborone on Tuesday, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs Pearl Ramokoka, said there is need for SADC member states to focus on improving migration governance.
