The Pharmacist Care Association of Namibia has launched the 2023 Namibia Health Exhibition.
The initiative scheduled to take place in September this year will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and innovators to showcase the latest developments in the field of healthcare.
The Namibia Health Exhibition will provide a unique opportunity to highlight the important work being done by the private sector to improve public health, from research, and development of new treatments and technologies, to the provision of essential health services and products.
It also provides a platform for collaboration between the public and private sectors to identify innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
The Minister of Health and Social Services Dr. Kalumbi Shangula said the event will promote Universal Health Coverage.
Dr. Shangula says innovation in healthcare is one of the prerequisite vehicles to achieving Universal Health care overage.
The President of the Pharmacist Care Association of Namibia, Grace Nakalondo says the exhibition will also create a platform for policymakers, medical practitioners and healthcare workers to share modern medical innovations, how to prevent diseases and seek medical solutions.
Healthcare providers across sectors are encouraged to collaborate and share knowledge and best practices and to leverage the latest technologies and innovations to improve healthcare outcomes for all.
