The German Cooperation government-to-government delegation led by Marieke Wagenhavser visited Nakayale Vocational Training Center in the Omusati Region to see how their funded project has been developed.
The delegation also visited the GIZ-sponsored youth agricultural training center at Outapi.
Nakayale VTC Manager Erick Nenghwanya explained how the funds were utilized and assisted in enhancing the learning environment.
GIZ has also funded farming for resilience training.
The Constituency Councillor for Outapi, Emmanuel Shikongo, hailed the partnership between GIZ and the government, which in return, he said contributed to the country's economic development and growth.
The field technical advisor and trainer, Johannes Muremi, says they want to empower Namibian youth to improve their quality of life.
The trainees come from the Ohangwena and Oshana regions.
