The 2023 Namibia Rugby League will kick off this weekend. League champions Wanderers Rugby club are ready for 2023 League kick-off according to the club's two head coaches Dirk Human and Janice Beukes.

The 2023 Rugby league will be kicking off this weekend with some mouth-watering fixtures. Last year's league winners in the Women's, reserve and premier leagues, gave an update on their preparations for this year's games. 

Beukes also spoke about their opening fixture this weekend against the ladies from Rehoboth Rugby Club, which is a repeat of last year's final. 

Steenbokkies will be hosting the new team on the block, Oceans Rugby, while United's ladies will face Kudus bokkies in the capital. 

Apart from the ladies rugby action this weekend, the men will also take to the field, with Wanderers facing the Red Bulls from Rehoboth at the town. 

Head Coach Dirk Human touched on their preparations and challenges ahead of the league kick off and his expectations for this weekend's game.


In other fixtures, Western Suburbs will host Grootfontein, while UNAM host Falcons and United take on Kudus at the Hage Geingob stadium
