The Capricorn Eagles are engaged in final preparations for the upcoming Women's quadrangular series, which will take place from the 24th of April to the 2nd of May at the United Cricket Grounds.

With one week to go before the quadrangular series starts, the Capricorn Eagles have stepped up preparations ahead of the competition.

The Capricorn Eagles will be hosting Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and Uganda, with the players saying that they can't wait to face their opponents.

Over the weekend the team has been working on fine tuning their at in the national nets of the Wanderers Cricket Grounds.

The coach of the Capricorn Eagles, Francois van der Merwe, said that the girls are in a good space at this point in time and that preparations have been going well for the past three months.

He adds that the high performance structures in Windhoek and at the coast have helped the players in working on their particular skills.

The Capricorn Eagles will open the series against Hong Kong on Monday 24 April and Van der Merwe is looking forward to facing one team in particular.

All-rounder Sune Wittmann believes that the preparations have been going well, saying that they want to go all the way to the final.

Wittmann's sentiments are echoed by another all-rounder, Kayleen Green, who says that the team has matured over the past two years and that it's time for them to start performing.

Kick off for the Capricorn Eagles versus Hong Kong opening match is scheduled for 14:30 next week Monday.
