The Capricorn Eagles won the toss and chose to bat first but Uganda had other ideas as they kept taking wickets. At one point, the Namibian team members found themselves four wickets down for 47 runs.

Ugandan bowlers continued taking more wickets and restricted Namibia from putting up decent partnerships.

It was a day to forget for the Capricorn Eagles players as their batting did not go according to plan.

And as Uganda kept picking holes in the Capricorn Eagles' batting more wickets fell to leave the host at 94 all out.

What was supposed to be an easy run chase for Uganda as they only needed 95 runs to beat the Capricorn Eagles looked like a failed mission as well.

The hosts needed quick wickets to derail Uganda's plans of getting a win and eventually they had lady luck on their side as their bowlers also helped themselves with early wickets to make sure the visitors didn't stroll towards another win.

In the end the Capricorn Eagles bowlers suffocated the Ugandan batters and bowled them out for 88 runs to win by 8 runs and more importantly kept their 100% record in the quadrangular series.

The coach of the Capricorn Eagles, Francois Van Der Merwe said that today's match was a rollercoaster, while the coach of Uganda Laurence Sematimba was gracious in defeat.
Both teams will be in action on Sunday again with Uganda taking on Hong Kong at 09:30 as the Capricorn Eagles will face the UAE at 14:30.
