A man who suffered a severe assault at the Onhengobe village in the Ohangwena Region died over the weekend.

24-year-old Daniel Ananias was assaulted with a stick on his forehead about a week ago and died as a result of his injuries.

In another incident, Imms Hermanus Ganaseb (22) died after he was stabbed with a knife in Swakopmund's DRC location.

The suspect (19) stabbed Ganaseb several times before he fled the scene; he was arrested the following day.

In Keetmanshoop, a 19-year-old man is fighting for his life at the state hospital after he was stabbed 12 times.

The Namibian Police Weekend Crime Report states that the victim's friend stabbed the suspect following a heated argument.

At Onanke village in the Oshikoto Region, a man was assaulted with a stick when a fight broke out after he allegedly put his feet on a table at a local bar.

The victim is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, and the suspect is arrested.
